| Touch-Lite is a customized circuit that can be used in
many applications.
 |
You can build the circuitry on a board
only 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" (See Picture). |
|

The cost of the parts to build the Touch-Lite circuit is less than $10.00
using the parts listed in the BOM (Bill of material).
The cost of the Schematics and
the BOM is $15.00.

 | The circuit can be used to turn lamps on and off,
electrical appliances, or just about anything electrical. I use the Touch-Lite
circuit inside a flashlight. The circuitry uses virtually no current while
it is in standby mode awaiting a touch. Touch the touch-pad once and the
flashlight, lamp, radio, etc. comes on, touch it again and the device
turns off. I've had the Touch-Lite circuitry installed into a Lantern
Flashlight for about a year and the 6 Volt battery is still fresh. The
circuitry can be used in 1-1/2 volt, 3 volt, 6 volt or 12 volt systems
simply by changing some of the resistor values ( Information for resistor
values is supplied with the plans ). The new innovative circuit is very
efficient ( does not wear out the battery even while the circuit is
awaiting a touch, and is inexpensive to build ). |
|
 | We also have a new version that uses a
microprocessor chip that will shut the circuit off after a preset length
of time if you accidentally leave it on. This new version will be
available soon. |
